Reciteword is an education software to help people to study English, reciting English words. It has very beautiful interface, make reciting word being an interesting thing.



Downloading

For Fedora users, you can just use "yum install reciteword" to install it.

WyabdcRealPeopleTTS package make ReciteWord can pronounce those English words. It is just many .wav files.
Please extract(use WinRAR in Windows) the tarball and install it at "/usr/share/"(Linux) or "C:\Program Files\"(Windows).
In Linux do:
tar -xjvf reciteword-books-0.8.5.tar.bz2 -C /usr/share/reciteword/
tar -xjvf reciteword-dicts-0.8.2.tar.bz2 -C /usr/share/reciteword/
tar -xjvf reciteword-skins-rw-0.8.2.tar.bz2 -C /usr/share/reciteword/skins
tar -xjvf reciteword-skins-rw_en-0.8.2.tar.bz2 -C /usr/share/reciteword/skins
tar -xjvf WyabdcRealPeopleTTS.tar.bz2 -C /usr/share

To install, unpack the archive, then drag and drop to the /Applications folder.
To run in place, unpack and click.
